Today was perfect. Not many days are perfect so I soaked this one up. I even had a personal success today- about 3 weeks ago I finally opened my new sewing machine that I had received for Christmas, and today I actually sewed with it! I made my very own headband. I have been sewing by hand with the basic skills my grandmother taught me when I was young, and it just felt like I was ready to move up to the big guns ha ha I have made headbands similar to the one I made today by hand, and let me tell you- I was so surprised by how quickly I got it done on the machine! I know, I shouldn't have been surprised but still, I was :) I will have a little DIY and show n' tell later this week.
I am going to kick back with my little family and enjoy my last few hours of the weekend. They go by way too quickly.
