DIY: VALENTINE BANNERS.

Banners are such a fun and easy way to decorate for a holiday or special occasion! For Valentines Day I created two simple banners (one for home and one for the break room at work) that really took no time at all but add something special to the space.

First up- The Simple Heart Banner
Supplies needed: Paper Hearts, Yarn, Scrap fabric, and scissors. How To: I purchased pre-glittered hearts in the Valentine aisle at the super market and punched 4 holes in each heart to string the yarn through. After you have arranged and spaced your hearts to your liking tie scraps of fabric between the hearts. In 20 mins or less you have a perfectly sweet, and perfectly simple banner!

Second- Fringed Love Banner
Supplies: Tissue Paper, Scrap Cardboard, Yarn, Glitter, Mod Podge, Scissors, Double Sided Stick Tape. How To: Cut out your letters from the cardboard, coat them in Mod Podge and apply the glitter. While waiting on you letters to dry, layer a few pieces of tissue paper together (I did 3 layers with varying colors) and fold in half. Open and lay your yarn piece along the crease and tape into place. Re-fold. Fringe the bottom of the banner. Once your glittered letters have dried, attach them to the banner with double sided stick tape- then hang!

Happy Crafting!
