YAY FOR WEDNESDAYS! I won't bore you with the blah blah boring details of my week but I will say I am glad to be half way to the weekend :) I wore this outfit on Sunday for the 5 minutes we actually left the house. I am kinda of looking forward to being hermits again this coming weekend- getting things done and feeling accomplished after a long creative dry spell is refreshing.

I am pretty excited about wearing more maxi skirt/ platform boot combos this fall. I love how the midwest experienced a brief fall teaser and now everyone just has autumnal brain :)

But lets not rush the pretty summers end- I still want more pool time!

MAGICAL 3.

This past week we celebrated 3 years of married bliss ... and Stella turned 3! That's right, our little bundle of furry joy was born on our wedding day. If we weren't meant to be a trio I don't know who would be. We celebrated our anniversary with dinner out and since 3 years is the leather anniversary we purchased leather cuffs to decorate! Stella Bean got a dish of vanilla ice cream and we enjoyed the gorgeous weather with a little walk.

We couldn't have asked for a more laid back evening, it was perfect!

HAPPY MONDAY.

Yesterday we got together with Nate's family to celebrate April birthdays. I really lucked out in the in-law department! I can't imagine not liking my in-laws, I always thought that was pretty unfortunate for those who don't get along with their spouses family. Now we have double the family, what could be better?

He probably won't be too thrilled about all the outtakes of him but you know what? I thought they were funny, so ... there. Aren't family portraits the greatest? I think I like the outtakes better than the put together one! So much more character.

I am currently waiting on the mister to get home so I can get to making our breakfast for dinner ... or Brinner, if you will. I freaking LOVE breakfast for dinner. And I think I will make chocolate chip pancakes and maybe an iced coffee to go with.  Hm, well I am hungry now ha!

BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY.

I had such an amazing afternoon with my amazing little family. I had to work this morning so on my way home I picked up some hot fudge sundaes, we took it easy this afternoon with a long walk (there are so many blossoms blooming all over town- I almost died of happiness!) and then we came home where he sketched, I brainstormed and organized and we made dinner together. I wish everyday could be like today.

 What is it about the changing of seasons that fill you with an appreciation and love for everything that comes with it? Right now I am loving evening walks, warm nights, rainbow sherbert, spring cleaning, and my little family. I am so grateful for it all!
